“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.” - Edward Abbey
These images on the top two rows are from the Canadian Rockies, a spectacular range of mountains in the western province of Alberta. If you're an outdoor person it's place you need to see. Canadian Parks have a more casual feel than US Parks, fewer amenities and more untouched tracts of nature. Grab a map, find some points of interest, and wander around.

The bottom row images are from Newfoundland. It's a mellow, friendly place that's really far north. It stays light very late during summer, and fortunately I wasn't there during winter when the days are really short.
