| Maadi is the most affluent and
well-kept neighborhood in Cairo. With plenty of plants and trees,
there's more green than the rest of the city, even some shade! As
you can see, the top of every apartment building is covered with antennas
and satellite dishes. On a clear day from a few stories above street level, you can see the familiar silhouette of the pyramids at Giza, miles away to the west. |
