Grand Canyon National Park is a must see destination for everyone. I've never met anyone who saw it for the first time and said: "So what's the big deal?" The Grand Canyon is HUGE. To look over the edge is inspiring, but you should hike at least part way down to get the full effect. Avoid the well-used Bright Angel Trail on weekends, holidays, and busy times of day. It's a narrow trail, so you'll be sharing (competing for) space with smelly mule trains and other hikers. These photos are all from the busy South Rim.
