| Greenwich Point is a beautiful
town park in Greenwich Connecticut. It's a peninsula on the north
side of Long Island Sound with a beach, wooded areas with trails,
and a harbor for small boats. On a clear day you can see the profile
of New York City about 25-miles to the southwest. Greenwich Point was known as Tod's Point (after the former residents) prior to the town purchasing the land and developing it for recreation.
