Dark Rocks and NYC Sunset
It's an eerie image with the dark rocks at low tide in the foreground and a New York City silhouette we haven't seen in years.

If you look closely at upper left you'll see the twin World Trade Towers dominating New York's distinctive skyline. This photo was taken during the winter of 2000.

Numerous Greenwich residents who commuted to the city perished in the the September 11th attacks. For days afterward we could see smoke rising from the spot where the iconic buildings once stood, so the attacks felt very close to home.

Violence and retribution accomplish nothing.
