| Waikiki on the island of Oahu
is the busiest tourist destination I've been to. There are always
people out on the streets, on the move. It reminds me of New York
City, only smaller, cleaner—with better weather and a beautiful
beach. You don't need to go far to get away from the crowds. Kapiolani Park abuts Waikiki at the south end with plenty of open space. Travel up the mountains to the rain forest, or to the other side of the island where it's less commercial. Click on a small image below for the full size image and description... |
