Looking southeast away from
the Tetons there's plenty of open space like this.
The area to the east of the Tetons is considered Jackson Hole, but
there's no town by that name. Further south there's Jackson Wyoming,
a small, friendly, tourist town with a whole lot of antlers at the
central park. I don't have a pic so you'll have to go and see what
I mean.
I stopped in town and looked around, plenty of opportunities to buy
knickknacks, or artistic souvenirs. I especially liked the museum
with Native American artifacts.
While in a popular sandwich shop I overheard a worker give this advice
to a troubled patron: "If you don't want someone to git yer goat,
don't tell em where you left it." Good advice indeed. |
